NEW YORK CITY, NY – October 13, 2016 –The Financial Policy Councils continues its series of highly successful, powerhouse events when it next presents Making Money in Real Estate Today: Challenges and Opportunities. The event will take place in New York City on November 7th.
The panel discussion program will posit the effect of the current economy and business on real estate and where opportunities to make money in the market lie. The power summit features leading experts in Real Estate who will discuss the variety and locations where opportunities are most advantageous and how to make money from them today and in the future that.
Financial Policy Council Chairman and Founder, Ziad K. Abdelnour, will serve as moderator for the event. Mr. Abdelnour is a Wall Street Financier, Author, Philanthropist, Activist, Lobbyist, Oil & Gas Trader & President & CEO of Blackhawk Partners, Inc.. Blackhawk Partners is a New York based private equity “family office” that focuses on originating, structuring, advising and acting as equity investor in management-led buyouts, strategic minority equity investments, equity private placements, consolidations, buildups, and growth capital financing in companies and projects based both in the US and emerging markets and the trading of key physical commodities. Mr. Abdelnour is also a regular speaker on Private Equity, Physical Commodities trading and Middle East geo-political analysis at industry conferences & TV outlets nationwide.
The Panel Discussion will feature and be led by John Fraser. Mr. Fraser is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of Junius Real Estate Partners, JP Morgan Asset Management’s opportunistic real estate investment division. He brings over 27 years of real estate investment experience and insight to the discussion. Mr. Fraser is responsible for the management and direction of the Junius platform and its investment activities. He established the Junius business plan, strategy, structure and team. Prior to founding Junius in 2011, Mr. Fraser spent 15 years with Investcorp International Inc., where he was Co-Head of Real Estate. In this prior capacity, Mr. Fraser was responsible for all aspects of management and execution associated with Investcorp’s investment in U.S. real estate equity and debt.
Additional panelist from real estate, financial, and investor sectors will be joining the evenings lively discussion, which will be held at Elebash Recital Hall at the CUNY Graduate Center in Midtown on November 7 th .
